We went to Takao mountain today. Dan walked all the way up from the cable car and almost the whole way down! The man at the top told us route number six was OK to go down with a buggy and that it was very wide. That wasn’t true at all…
Dan enjoyed it so much when we got home he went and found some plastic food boxes in the kitchen and started putting some food in them, saying “These are for the new mountain tomorrow”.
I’m going to have a week off work from now. Don’t think this has happened when I wasn’t sick or jet-lagged since Christmas 2006! So nice to be able to play with Dan without worrying about fitting in work.
It’s Tomo’s birthday today so I made him French toast for breakfast with inca (dandelion coffee).
We put up our Christmas tree last week, Dan was really excited! Unfortunately he has been sick the last few days with what we think is mumps so he’s having some TV time at home…
When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, Dan said a “Toy man”. We think he means he wants to own a toy shop! This is a picture of a house we made out of cardboard.
I took Dan to meet my friend Julian from Bristol at Sakuragicho in Yokohama. Dan loved it and there was loads of space for him to run around.
