In Japan people don’t seem to make tea as much as they do in the UK and there doesn’t seem to be the custom of offering tea to other people when you make a cup for yourself. So I made Tomo a list of appropriate times to make tea.
1. In the morning after waking up
2. At about 11am
3. After lunch
4. At about 4pm
5. After dinner
6. When starting work
7. During work
8. Whenever anyone comes home
9. Whenever someone comes to visit
10. When something important happens
The other picture is of some tea Dan and I got in Tesco here. I was going to get Earl Grey but Dan didn’t like the picture of Earl Grey. It turned out OK though as the English Breakfast is really good.
