Vegetarian Bentos

Filed under: Cooking, Tomo — grace @ 5:35 am

Since Tomo started working I have been making him bentos for his dinner (he works 3-11pm). Most of them are from 菜菜ランチ―. The recipes are really simple and quick to make, but it is only in Japanese so have to get Tomo to help me read it sometimes.

Salad People

Filed under: Books, Cooking, Danjuro — grace @ 1:17 pm

We went to visit Dan’s friend Julian and made them dinner. I just got “Salad People and More Real Recipes” by Mollie Katzen (who wrote the Moosewood Cookbook). It’s a really nice book that has picture recipes for preschoolers to follow. I made some salad people. Dan and Julian weren’t that interested in helping but they did enjoy eating them!
