We went to Takao for the morning. There were quite a lot of people going up the mountain so we went for a walk in the opposite direction which was nice as there was hardly anyone there. We had a packed lunch (curry sandwiches) and then walked from Takao-san Guchi station to Takao with Dan in the hugabub sling.

We went with Tomo’s family & friends to stay for a night in a ryokan in Hakone. Dan had great fun as there were 2 young girls in our group (Hana-chan and Mina-chan) and they loved playing with him.

We went to stay for a few days in Hakone. Dan loved the onsen and playing on the car in the playroom. We stayed at Tsutsuji-sou which is a hotel owned by Shinjuku-ku and so slightly cheaper for us, they also do vegetarian meals which is good for me!

We took Dan for a walk in Meiji Jingu Grounds. You can go in from Yoyogi and come out at Harajuku.
In Sonpo Japan Museum Lobby
We receievd some free tickets to go and see the childrens’ book exhibition at Sonpo Japan Museum in Shinjuku. Dan liked the Very Hungry Caterpillar book best as he has that book.
Today we went to see the Rinpa masters at Ueno National Museum. There were 4 versions of the thunder and wind gods screen.
