My friend Maura from California came to stay with us for a few days. We both did Judo and met at the Kodokan when she was here for a few years about 5yrs ago. It was really nice to see her after so long and catch up. We only have a small flat so all had to sleep in the same room and I was a bit worried that Dan wouldn’t go to sleep with a new person there, but he was fine. We took Dan for a picnic in Shinjuku Gyoen on Monday. He was really good and sat down to eat for quite a long time. It helped that I had edamame which he loves and calles ‘Beeeans!’.
