Some nursery rhymes so I don’t forget…

Filed under: Nursery Rhymes — grace @ 7:21 am

I learnt these at the playgroups I went to with Dan in Hastings.

I had a little turtle,
His name was tiny Tim.
I put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim.
He drank up all the water,
He ate up all the soap,
And now he’s got a bubble stuck inside his throat.
Bubble, bubble,bubble,
Bubble, bubble, bubble,
Bubble, bubble, bubble,
Bubble, bubble, pop!

See the little bunnies sleeping till it’s nearly noon
Come and let us gently wake them with a merry tune
Oh how still, are they ill, wake up soon
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop

When all the cows were sleeping
And the sun had gone to bed
Up jumped the scarecrow
And this is what he said!

I’m a dingle, dangle scarecrow
With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that

Dan at a 'Messy Play' playgroup in Hastings. We also took him to toddler football and a weekly playgroup on the beach. most of the playgroups were free and had fresh fruit snack time as well.
